Henri Meyer 1844-1899

Henri Meyer, also known as Reyem, was a French caricaturist and illustrator, notable for creating illustrations for novels by Jules Verne published by Hetzel.

Among his works are Un capitaine de quinze ans by Jules Verne, La Frontière indienne by Lucien Biart, as well as works by Bentzon and Thomas Mayne-Reid. He also produced numerous illustrations for the press, including a large number of covers for the Supplément illustré of Le Petit Journal, engraved by Fortuné Méaulle.
